Upward Cheerleading Upward cheerleading promotes character and self-esteem in every child by providing:
§ Sign-up individually, not as a squad § Learn techniques to improve her cheerleading skills § Cheer time for one hour on game day § Embark on new friendships
Registration Information
à Registration forms are available in the church office à Early registration cost per child is $60 for cheerleading à After October 31st, add $10 per child à Deadline for registration is November 15th à Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $15 à Parents may drop off their form and registration fee at the church office (1801 E. Teague Ave., Fresno) anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday
Every cheerleader will receive:
§ Upward Cheerleading uniform § Upward Cheerleading megaphone § Two cheer poms § Upward Cheerleading car magnet § Receive special recognition awards after every game § End of the season award

Upward Basketball Upward basketball promotes character and self-esteem in every child by providing:
§ Equal playing time for every player § Separate leagues for boys and girls § Learn techniques to improve his/her basketball skills § A one-hour practice and game each week of the season § An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity for improvement

Every basketball player will receive:

Evaluations and Sign-ups Every participant MUST attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading sign-up. They will take place at the Woodward Park Baptist Church Gym as follows: 1st & 2nd Grade Boys and Girls: Monday, November 12th, 2007, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. 3rd & 4th Grade Boys and Girls: Tuesday, November 13th, 2007, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. 5th & 6th Grade Boys and Girls: Thursday, November 15th, 2007, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.
