Woodward Park Baptist Church is pleased to welcome and befriend international students from all over the world!

Our desire is to help international students adjust to life in Fresno as well as improve their English conversation skills.

During the academic year, September through May, we offer Conversational English Partners on Wednesday nights

from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Native English speakers spend the entire time conversing with international students. A topic

sheet is provided every week with suggested questions to get the conversation started. An optional idioms lesson is also

available for the more advanced English student. The conversation groups are small with one to three internationals

for each American "English Partner".

A free meal is available at the church at 5:30pm before the conversational groups meet.
